Artist and graphic designer Lou Janesko will talk aboutThe Progress of an Artist: A Personal JourneyThursday, April 16, at West Virginia University .

The free, public lecturesponsored by the humanities program in the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences will begin at 5 p.m. in Room G15 of the Life Sciences Building on the Downtown Campus.

Currently based in Washington, D.C., Janesko studied graphic design at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. He has worked with many mediums throughout his career, including airbrush design, computer graphics and watercolors. Many of his works are painted outdoors.

A selection of fine artwork will be displayed during and after Janeskos presentation. A question-and-answer session will immediately follow the talk.
