West Virginia Universitys Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity will hold a bell-ringing ceremony Friday (Dec. 5) in remembrance of three students who died during Thanksgiving break.

The service will begin at 11:50 a.m. at Oglebay Plaza on WVU s Downtown Campus.

The students being honored are:

  • Shawn Lee Boggess, 22, a senior from Charleston (died Nov. 30)
  • James Andrew Campbell-Zunser, 21, a junior accounting major from Wheeling (died Nov. 25 of an illness)
  • Tyler D. Young, 22, a senior chemistry major from Cortland, Ohio (passed away Nov. 24)

Family, friends and members of the University community are welcome to attend Fridays ceremony. Individuals who would like to speak should contact Heather Stewart, memorial bell-ringing coordinator, at 304-293-3071.
