The West Virginia University Wind Symphony, conducted by WVU Director of Bands John Hendricks III , will present a Veterans Day concert Tuesday, Nov. 11, at the Creative Arts Center.

The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Lyell B. Clay Concert Theatre.

Highlights of the program includeMusic for Pragueby Karel Husa in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the piece andEach Time You Tell Their Storyby Samuel R. Haso as a tribute to veterans.

The program will also featureGeorgian Court Fanfareby Richard L. Saucedo,Fugue in Cby Charles Ives,Slava!by Leonard Bernstein,Overture to Rienziby Richard Wagner,Valdresby Johannes Hanssen andNoisy Wheels of Joyby Eric Whitacre.

Other conductors will be Christopher J. Nichter and Jeffry Blake Johnson.

The Wind Symphony is the premier concert group of the seven University bands and is made up of the finest wind and percussion performers at WVU .
