The West Virginia University Flute Choir will present its fall concert at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Creative Arts Center .

The concert, which is free and open to the public, will be in the CAC s Bloch Learning and Performance Hall .

The 19-piece ensemble, under the direction of WVU music professor Francesca Arnone , will present original works for flutes by American composer Crawford Gates, Czech composer Jindrich Feld and British composer Margaret Lowe.

There will also be arrangements of popular works by Maurice Ravel, Edvard Grieg and Georg Philipp Telemann.

Bring your family for a fun-filled, hour-long program featuring large ensemble works for piccolos, flutes, alto flutes and bass flutes, as well as a bit of dramatic staging,Arnone said.
