Interested in being part of the arts at West Virginia University ?

The College of Creative Arts has openings for talented and dedicated young people interested in studying art and design, music, theater and dance. Scholarships are available for majors in all of these areas.

Budding artists and performers can learn more Saturday, Oct. 18, by attending Scholarship Audition Day at the WVU Creative Arts Center . Hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

This event is designed to give interested students, parents and families an opportunity to see everything that the College of Creative Arts has to offer, as well as the opportunity to audition for scholarships.

Participants will also attend special workshops, meet current faculty and students, tour facilities, see performances and learn about life and the arts at WVU .

To qualify for admission and scholarships, music students must complete an audition, and art students must complete a portfolio review.

Although the programs in theater and dance have an open-admission policy for all areas, students interested in scholarships must complete an audition/interview to qualify.
