Media Advisory: NASCAR's Biffle invites everyone to join 'Race to Donate'

* WHO :* Red Cross blood donor and NASCAR driver Greg Biffle

  • WHAT :* The American Red Cross and West Virginia University have teamed up with 3M and Roush Fenway Racing for the Race to Donate Blood Drive. The event is part of Red Cross Racing, a national campaign aimed at boosting donations and raising awareness about the ongoing need for blood. Biffle will be available to answer media questions about the program.
  • WHEN :* Thursday, Sept. 4, 4:30-4:45 p.m.
  • WHERE :* Mountaineer Room, Mountainlair (second floor), WVU Downtown Campus

* ADDITIONAL INFORMATION :* Students, faculty, staff and community members are encouraged to participate in a blood drive from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday in the Mountainlair ballrooms.
