West Virginia women will gather to learn more about healthy lifestyles at two Women on Wellness (WOW) retreats June 24 at Camp Creek State Park in Mercer County and July 26 at Heston Farm inFairmont.
The National Center of Excellence in Womens Health at West Virginia University sponsors the daylong WOW retreats, which aim to educate and inspire women to take an active role in managing their health.
Women who attend will learn ways to improve their lifestyles through exercise, nutrition and chronic disease management. They will learn more about exercise, take part in health screenings and indulge in relaxing therapies such as massage.
