Young violinists from the Morgantown area who study in the Community Music Program at the West Virginia University College of Creative Arts will present a Suzuki recital Sunday (April 27).

The free, public concert will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the Bloch Learning and Performance Hall (Room 200A) at the Creative Arts Center on WVU s Evansdale Campus.

The students include young aspiring violinists and several older students who display a great deal of proficiency and skill. They will perform a variety of classical pieces.

Students include Leo Weimer, Emily Braham, Nina Han, Craig Weimer, Katherine Henneberger, Siddharth Subramanyam, Kienan Battin, Sean Elliott, Akshay Chandran, Duncan Crooks, Tristan Quinones, Sara Jones, Vuong Nguyen, Kristi Guritza, Cindy Lin, Jimmy Yuan, Elizabeth Albuquerque, Jason Snyder, Allison Prescott, Patrick Sullivan, Eriko Hatton, Emily Ngan and Lucian Mazza. They study with Mary Wilson in the Community Arts Program.
