West Virginia Universitys Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity will hold a bell-ringing ceremony Friday (April 18) in honor of a WVU student who recently passed away.

Heather Nicole Miller, 21, a senior nursing student from Triadelphia, died March 31 from injuries suffered in a March 25 car accident in Wheeling.

Family, friends and members of the University community will gather at 11:50 a.m. at Oglebay Plaza on WVU s Downtown Campus. Individuals who would like to speak should contact Alpha Phi Omega, 304-293-3071, or Eli Rodgers-Melnick, memorial bell-ringing coordinator, at erodger2@gmail.com .

Millers family has set up a scholarship fund in her name. Contributions may be made to the Heather Miller Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Wesbanco Bank, Wheeling, WV 26003 .
