The Mountaineers are headed to the”Sweet 16”for the third time in the last four years after beating the Duke Blue Devils on Saturday.WVU alumni and friends interested in following the team in the third round of the tournament will have an opportunity to join them in Arizona as they face No. 3 seeded Xavier on March 27. The start time for that game has not been announced.

Air/hotel packages will depart from Clarksburg on March 27 and return on March 30.Packages will include round trip air transportation, appropriate in-flight services, round trip airport to hotel transfers and baggage handling, three-night accommodations, pre-registration of hotel rooms, baggage handling at the hotel, round trip game transfers and more. For those traveling to Phoenix on their own, land-only packages are also available and include all tour features exclusive of air transportation, airport transfers and baggage handling.Air-only may be purchased on a space available basis. Game tickets in the * WVU section are available for purchase and are guaranteed to all travel participants* .Officials from National Travel and the Alumni Association will also serve as travel hosts for the length of the trip.

The Mountaineer Ticket Office will have a limited number of tickets available for purchase. Champion level donors of the Mountaineer Athletic Club and above may buy tickets beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, March 24 by calling 1-800-WVU GAME . Champion level donors may purchase two tickets, Gold Scholars may purchase four tickets and Mountaineer Scholars along with Stadium Suite holders may purchase up to six tickets. Tickets must be purchased by 5 p.m. on Monday.If any tickets remain after Monday at 5 p.m., sales will be opened to additional levels of the Mountaineer Athletic Club.Tickets are valid for the Thursday and Saturday sessions of the West Regional.Only Visa, MasterCard and Discover cards will be accepted for payment.
