The WVU mens basketball team will be playing close to home, and thousands of alumni and fans are expected to descend upon the Verizon Center as the Mountaineer take on the Arizona Wildcats in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, Thursday, March 20. The WVU Alumni Association and its National Capital Area Chapter will host a pep rally and networking reception prior to the game at The Hotel Monaco from 6 p.m.-8 p.m.


The event, which is free and open to the public, will feature appearances by the Mountaineer, cheerleaders and the WVU Pep Band, as well as limited snacks and a cash bar.
