Plans are already under way for West Virginia University’s 139th Commencement weekend (May 16-18).

In keeping with changes made last year, the University will host a series of individual, personalized ceremonies at one of three venues on the Evansdale Campus: the WVU Coliseum, Creative Arts Center and Student Recreation Center.

Events will begin with the Commencement Honors Convocation at 7 p.m. May 16 at the WVU Coliseum. Invitations to participate will be extended to WVU Foundation Outstanding Seniors, graduating Honors College students and ROTC cadets and other outstanding graduates. The convocation is open to the public.
