Media Advisory: NSF director, Mollohan to visit WVU Monday

* WHO * : National Science Foundation (NSF) Director Arden L. Bement and Congressman Alan B. Mollohan

* WHAT :* They will visit some of West Virginia Universitys physics and engineering research facilities and meet with research faculty and students.

* WHEN :* Monday, Dec. 3, 10-11:30 a.m.

* WHERE :* The tour will begin at 10 a.m. outside rooms 325 and 330 on the third floor of Hodges Hall on the Downtown Campus. They will then travel to the Evansdale Campus, where they will assemble outside Room G-75A on the ground floor of the Engineering Sciences Building at approximately 10:45 a.m.

* WHY * : To explore how the NSF , researchers and private industry can work together to advance innovation and meet the challenges of global competitiveness.
