One stage. Two superstars.

In a limited engagement tour, country icon Reba McEntire and pop-star powerhouse Kelly Clarkson will join voices at the West Virginia UniversityColiseum at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 19.

Tickets for the”2 Worlds 2 Voices 2008 Tour”go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at the Mountainlair and Creative Arts Center box offices, all Ticketmaster outlets and online at ticketmaster.com.

McEntire has a genre-bending artistic presence that spans the worlds of music, screen and stage. With over 33 No. 1 hits, 31 studio albums, 15 American Music Awards, 12 Academy of Country Music Awards, seven Country Music Association Awards and two Grammys,she is a force to be reckoned with.

AGolden Globe nominated actress, she was the star of the WB/CWs, top-rated sitcomRebafor six successful seasons. Her latest album,”Reba Duets,”is a groundbreaking collection of music with guests including Justin Timberlake, Carole Kingand Rascal Flatts. The first single wasa duet with Clarkson,Because of You,that ultimately helped McEntire earn her first ever No. 1 album on the pop charts. The single has since becomeher fastest climbing song since the summer of 1998.

Clarkson, the originalAmerican Idolchampion, eruptedonto the pop music scene in 2003 with the No. 1 album”Thankful.”But it was her second album,”Breakaway,”that really propelled her into superstardom. The album spawned five No. 1 singles and sold over 10 million copies worldwide. Clarkson also took home two Grammy Awards for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance in 2006.

Her new disc,”My December,”is out now, showcasing her powerful, distinctive vocal talent and introduces her as an artist and writer who is coming into her own. Last year, she was declared the most successful artist in Top 40 history with at least one single on the charts for 111 consecutive weeks.

Together, McEntire andClarkson have sold 60 million records worldwide. For the first time ever in full concert, they will come together in this one-of-a-kind concert experience.

Tickets range from $41-77 depending on seat location and may be purchased at the Mountainlair and Creative Arts Center box offices, online at ticketmaster.com or by phone at 304-292-0220. Ticket sales at the box offices will be conducted by random number distribution which will begin at 9 a.m. Therefore, there is no need to arrive before 9 a.m.

First day ticket sales will be limited to 10 tickets per buyer. Tickets may also be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets, at Giant Eagle below the Mountaineer Mall and FYE in the Meadowbrook Mall.

WVU students will receive $5 off all price levels with a valid Mountaineer Card. This discount is available only at the campus box offices.
