The West Virginia University Department of Biology is registering students for its fifth annual Graduate Recruitment Weekend Nov. 10-11 on the Downtown Campus.

The event, sponsored by the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences, will provide students interested in the biological sciences with information on WVU graduate programs. Activities will take place in the Life Sciences Building and other locations.

Prospective students will be able to attend a biology research symposium, meet WVU biology faculty members and graduate students, explore research opportunities, tour the WVU campus and begin the Universitys application process.

Graduating seniors and masters degree students from all over the country are invited to participate. Accommodations will be provided for those who require them. The reservation deadline is Thursday (Nov. 1).

To sign up, send an e-mail with name, address, college or university, phone number and accommodation specifications to Bill Peterjohn, associate chair for graduate studies, at William.Peterjohn@mail.wvu.edu . Students who register will be sent a full schedule.
