Interested in being part of the arts at West Virginia University?

Learn more by attending WVU College of Creative Arts Scholarship Audition and Open House Day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at the WVU Creative Arts Center on the Evansdale Campus.

The college has openings for talented and dedicated students interested in studying art, music, theatre and dance. Scholarships are available for majors in all of these areas.

The open house event is designed to give interested students, parents and families an opportunity to see everything the college has to offer, as well as the opportunity to audition for scholarships.

Participants will attend special workshops, meet current faculty and students, tour facilities, see performances and learn about life and the arts at WVU .

To qualify for admission and scholarships, music students must complete an audition and art students must complete a portfolio review.

Although the programs in theatre and dance have an open admission policy for all areas, students interested in scholarships must complete an audition and interview to qualify.
