The West Virginia University Extension Service will offer Occupation Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Hazard Awareness classes to the general public in November.
The OSHA 10 -Hour General Industry Hazard Awareness class will be held on Monday, Nov. 19, from 8 a.m.4 p.m. and Tuesday, Nov. 20, from 8 a.m.noon.
The OSHA 10 -Hour Construction Hazard Awareness class will be held on Monday, Nov. 26, from 8 a.m.4 p.m. and Tuesday, Nov. 27 from 8 a.m.noon.
Both classes will be held at WVU in Morgantown. They will be taught by certified WVU Safety and Health Extension instructors. OSHA 10 -Hour classes help companies and individuals comply with OSHA s safety and health requirements.
Pre-registration is required by calling 800-626-4748. A one-time fee of $125 includes a course manual and all course materials.
Cards indicating course completion will be awarded.
