Dr. David Dawley has received the top award for Delta Sigma Pi chapter advisors. This is second year in a row he has been recognized as the national chapter top advisor.

Dawley, an associate professor of management at the WVU College of Business and Economics, has advised the chapter since 2001. The WVU chapter had only 12 members when he took on the roletoday it has 64.

In addition to teaching business strategy, international business and global strategy and planning at WVU , Dawley is also a co-founder of Positive Impact Football Campa youth motivational camp. He won the Golden Apple Award in 2004 for his work with students.

Dawley was named Outstanding Researcher at the business college in 2005. His research has been published in theJournal of Management,Journal of Vocational Behavior,Journal of Managerial Issues,Healthcare Management ReviewandJournal of Organizational Analysis, among others.

His current research interests include turnaround strategies and organizational commitment.

Delta Sigma Pi is the largest business fraternity in the world with 250 chapters at every business school in the nation and more than 200,000 members.
