Lawmakers and staffers from the West Virginia Legislature will be at West Virginia University Monday (Sept. 24) to inform students about legislative internship opportunities for the Spring 2008 semester.

A drop-in reception is planned for 4 p.m. in Room 400, Knapp Hall on the Downtown campus. The event is free and open to students, faculty, and staff from all academic disciplines.

State Sen. Roman Prezioso, D-13th, is scheduled to attend, and several other legislators have also been invited. Legislative staff members Sara Jones, Jason Wazelle, and Drew Ross will also be on hand to provide information and answer questions about the internships.
