West Virginia University will be offering a series of free training classes this month for residential construction workers and supervisors.

Instructors from WVU Safety and Health Extension will travel to several different locations to present the three-hour training class. Each class in the following cities will run from 9 a.m.-noon: Harrisburg, Pa.Sept. 11, Philadelphia, Pa.Sept. 12, Hagerstown, Md.Sept. 13, CharlestonSept. 18, MorgantownSept. 24, and BluefieldSept. 27.

Instructors will discuss fall hazards that occur during each phase of residential construction, and safe alternatives will be presented for several potential fall hazards that often occur during home building and construction.
