West Virginia University Libraries will have no networked computer and telephone services this weekend due to construction at Clark Hall.
The outage is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., Friday, Aug. 24. Services should be restored Sunday morning, Aug. 26.
The Libraries will remain open as scheduled during the outage, but services will be very limited.
Remote database access, e-reserve and the library Web site will not be available.
The Downtown Campus Library will not have land line telephone service for incoming or outgoing calls.
Moreover, the Downtown Library will have no library computer service, no laptop service, no wireless access, no MountainLynx, no library databases and no e-journals while the network is down. Also, there will be no printing and no photocopying.
The Evansdale Library and the Health Sciences Library will have wireless access and telephone service, but no networked library resources.
MountainLynx will be available from laptops in the Evansdale Library and the Health Sciences Library.
