* WHO :* West Virginia teens (14 to 17 years old) are learning to be junior firefighters as they use high-tech equipment under the guidance of West Virginia Universitys Fire Service Extension.
* WHAT :* WVU s mobile aircraft fire training unit and its mobile residential- commercial structural fire training unit will create high-tech, live-burn training experiences for 76 West Virginia teens interested in firefighter training.
* WHEN :* Hands-on training will be conducted from 8:15-11:15 a.m. and 1:15-3 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 14 and from 8:15-11:45 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 15. Media are welcome to attend during these times. Tuesdays training will include ventilation (in the Mobile Fire Training Unit), fire extinguishers, personal protective equipment and self-contained breathing apparatus. Wednesdays training will include the Aircraft RescueFirefighting Unit.
* WHERE :* WVU Jacksons Mill State 4-H Camp, Jackson Mill Road (off Route 19, north of Weston).
