* WHO :* Firefighters, fire service instructors, hazardous materials technicians and public safety personnel

* WHAT :* The West Virginia State Fire School, now in its 76th year, gives the opportunity to learn the latest fire service information and techniques. Classes are instructed by WVU Fire Service Extension staff, community volunteer and paid firefighters, and representatives from various state and local public safety agencies. The approximately 200 participants selected their classes from more than 20 sessions including basic and advanced firefighting, hazardous materials operations, fire officer leadership, fire instructor certification, wildland fire fighting and arson investigation. WVU Fire Service Extensions Mobile Structural Fire Trainer, located at the school for the week, will be used for Firefighter I and Firefighter II practical training sessions.
