Not all West Virginia University students graduated last weekend. Those who have completed the WVU College of Business and Economics Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) program will receive diplomas at 11 a.m. Saturday (May 19) at the Erickson Alumni Center.

Thirty-nine studentsrepresenting groups from Morgantown, Elkins and Moorefieldare set to graduate. The ceremony will include remarks by student representatives from each location and Stephen Sears, Milan Puskar Dean of the College of Business and Economics.

The EMBA is taught in Morgantown and delivered via distance education technology across West Virginia in Beckley, Charleston, Elkins, Keyser, Lewisburg, Martinsburg, Moorefield, Parkersburg and Wheeling.

Classes meet two evenings a week, and students are involved in casework that ranges from simulation exercises to evaluation of current business problems, including issues pertinent to studentsemployment. Team decision making is emphasized with both local and distance teams.

The program also has an international residency component. Students may choose from China, Germany, Italy and the Czech Republic.
