Eleven West Virginia University creative writing students will share their work during a free public reading at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 26.
The reading will be in the Rhododendron Room of the Mountainlair on WVU s Downtown Campus. It will be followed by a reception.
The students are graduating this year from the masters of fine arts program in the Department of English in the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences.
The reading will include an introduction of each student by his or her thesis director.
Students receiving the degree are Trina Askin of South Riding, Va., Amy Colombo of Clarksburg, Stacey Elza of Masontown, Sarah Harris of Knox, Pa., Megan Thompson of Grafton, Ohio, Erin Tocknell of Nashville, Tenn., John Wells of Howard, Ohio and Penny Zang, Connie Banta, Tara Eaton and Benjamin Stein, all of Morgantown.
