Time to freshen up that resume. West Virginia Universitys spring Employment Expo will be from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday (April 11) at the WVU Coliseum.

The job fair, sponsored by WVU s Career Services Center and the West Virginia Radio Corp., brings more than 60 companies and agencies together under one roof.

Participating are AmeriCorps VISTA , the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Merck and Co., Mylan Laboratories Inc., Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, the WVU Department of Human Resources and many other employers. (For a complete listing, go tohttp://www.wvu.edu/~careersc/JobSearch/JobSearchJobFairsExpo.html.)

The expo is open to the public and is an excellent opportunity for WVU students to learn what career options are available to them now or when they graduate, said Susan Lantz, associate director of the Career Services Center.

Job seekers will be able to network with representatives from top companies and should come prepared to be interviewed. Dress for success, Lantz said, and bring plenty of resumes.

In addition, WVU students can get pointers on how to prepare at a job fair skills seminar offered by the Career Services Center. The session, led by WVU career counselor Rachel Holmberg, will be from 3-4 p.m. Monday (April 9) in the Mountainlairs Bluestone Room.
