The West Virginia University Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Harvey Felder, will present its annual Young Artists Concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 15, in the Lyell B. Clay Concert Theatre at the Creative Arts Center.

The Young Artists Competition is open to all full-time junior, senior and graduate student music majors. The winners represent the highest level of student performance at WVU .

This years program includesPoem for Flute and Orchestraby Charles T. Griffes, featuring Ruth Miltenberger, flute soloist;Piano Concerto No. 2 in G minor, Op. 22by Camille Saint-Saens, featuring Sun Jung Lee, piano soloist; andRhapsodie on a Theme by Paganini for Piano and Orchestra, Op. 43by Sergei Rachmaninoff, featuring piano soloist Patrick Weikle.
