West Virginia Universitys May graduates are encouraged to drop by theOne-Stop ShopMarch 5-8 for cap and gown information, individual portraits and other commencement information.

The One-Stop Shop will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday at the Student Recreation Center on the Evansdale Campus and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday in the Mountainlair Commons Area on the Downtown Campus.

This convenient service provides centralized locations on both campuses where students can order caps and gowns from the WVU Bookstore, get tips on resume writing and job-hunting, pay their $30 graduation fee by check or credit card and receive details on commencement and other important graduation information.

And, as a new feature this year, Student Affairs is partnering with Photographic Services to offer graduates individual pictures in their cap and gown. To purchase the pictures, students can choose from assorted packages online.

Pictures will be taken at the Mountainlair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 6-8 at the One-Stop Shop or via appointment from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, March 12-13, at Photographic Services on the Evansdale Campus. Appointments for pictures should be scheduled at the One-Stop Shop.

WVU departments, including Admissions and Records, Student Accounts and University Health Service, will be on hand to assist during the events. WVU Career Services will provide job-hunting assistance and resume writing, and students can sign up with the Alumni Association and the Athletic Department to stay connected to WVU and Mountaineer athletics after graduation.

A checklist will be available from individual colleges so students can make sure they have addressed all of their requirements. Graduates can turn in their checklists at the Student Affairs table at the One-Stop Shop to be eligible for prizes, which will be given out at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 8, in the Mountainlair.
