The West Virginia University Chamber Winds ensemble, directed by music professor John Weigand, will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday (Feb. 12) in the Gladys G. Davis Theatre at WVU s Creative Arts Center.

The program will feature Antonin DvoraksBagatellesand Igor StravinskysSymphonies of Wind Instruments.

In addition, music professor John Beall, composer-in-residence at WVU , will give a brief lecture on theSymphonies of Wind Instruments,including the revisions Stravinsky made for the second version of the work.

The concert is free and open to the public.
