Over the past 3years, this Mountaineer has mastered the art of multi-tasking.

Leah Harold graduated from WVU s College of Business and Economics in December 2006a semester early. While earning her marketing degree, she made the Deans List, served as Sisterhood Chair of Sigma Alpha professional agricultural sorority and participated in the WVU Red Cross Club. During her senior year, she also participated in an independent research study and was selected as the campuseyes and earsfor Office Depot.

Office Depot was recently named the primary supplier of office products at WVU . This partnership has resulted in mutually beneficial programs, including Depots internship opportunities through the Center for Career Development.

Harold, from Chloe, Calhoun County, was the companys second student intern. Through the experience, which she callsamazing,Harold earned class credit, cash and first-hand knowledge of the sales industry.

Flexible, lighthearted, low pressure and low stress is how Harold describes the experience.As a college kid, you couldnt have asked for anything better,she said.

Being a face for Depot, Harold interacted with University employees and departments, ensuring a positive relationship and product satisfaction.

She performed so well in her role that shes been hired as a full-time sales consultant,said Matt Inman, the companys Business Development Manager.

Harold is thankful shes able to apply what shes learned at WVU to her new job. The simulations, independent studies and respectable professors result in anabsolutely, 100 percent fabulousmarketing department, Harold gushes.

Her clients include WVU , University Health Associates, WVU Hospitals and Fairmont State University, among others.

Company loyalty is important to Harold. Shes happy that she was able to stay with Office Depot and plans to be with them long-term.I cant express my gratitude to them for giving me a chance,she said.

We feel lucky to have been given the opportunity to work with Leah in her internship role and look forward to the obvious contributions shell make to our team,Inman added.
