How the United States will meet its growing energy needs will be the topic of conversation among Charleston residents next week.
ConocoPhillips and West Virginia University Institute of Technology are co-hosting a town hall meeting with community leaders to discuss the nation’s energy issuesranging from traditional oil and gas development, to alternative energy, to energy efficiency and conservation. Charleston residents have the opportunity to ask questions and provide ConocoPhillips and other West Virginia energy experts with feedback on how they believe we can meet our nations growing energy demand.
Next weeks community meeting is one of the first stops in 2007 on a nationwide listening tour ConocoPhillips kicked off in late 2006.
