Framing the fruits of the semester at West Virginia University.
The Fall 2006 Psychology Capstone Poster Session from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, in the foyer outside the psychology main office in the Life Sciences Building.
Eighty students will present results of their semester-long Capstone Experience on applied work in the community, laboratory research and classroom teaching.
The event is open to faculty, graduate students, psychology majors and the community.
The posters have a bit of a payoff, said Dr. Joe Scotti, the psychology faculty member who is helping coordinate the event.
The session provides an experience similar to a professional conference presentation,he said.It allows the students to demonstrate the integration of their classroom learning with practical experiences.
