The newly-formed West Virginia University Flute Choir will present its first full-length public performance at 5 p.m. Sunday in the Creative Arts Center (Evansdale Campus).

The event will be in the Bloch Learning and Performance Hall (200A) and is free and open to the public.

The Flute Choir is comprised of 15 flute majors who will be playing various combinations of C flute, piccolo, alto flute, and bass flute.

In addition to the ensembles director, faculty member Francesca Arnone, two student conductors will also be directing the ensemble.

The group will perform works by Lauf, McMichael, dRivera, Handel, and an arrangement of traditional Korean folk songs.
