Packed within these 10 days will be the popular Mountaineer Week beard-growing competition and PRT Cram, a pizza-making contest, storytelling, clogging, traditional music and all things edible from an old-fashioned corn roast and funnel cakes to wild west kettle corn.

The culmination of Mountaineer Week will be the WVU -Cincinnati football game at noon Saturday, Nov. 11, at Milan Puskar Stadium. Mr. and Ms. Mountaineer, students who epitomize the gold-and-blue spirit of a true WVU Mountaineer, will be announced during halftime. WVU s Most Loyal Mountaineers will also be named.

Mountaineer Week began in 1948 as a weekend event to build school spirit around the WVU -Kentucky football game.
