West Virginia University is once again listed in the annual reportAmericas 100 Best College Buysput together by Institutional Research&Evaluation, Inc. The University consistently makes the list.

This is yet another confirmation that West Virginia University is providing students the very highest quality education at an affordable price,said WVU President David C. Hardesty Jr.

This report follows on the heels of a USA Today study showing WVU with the 14th lowest in-state tuition among 75 flagship universities across the country.

IR&E surveyed tuition, fees, room and board, as well as GPA , SAT /ACT scores of freshmen entering college in the fall of 2005.

The survey was submitted to 1,473 accredited U.S. colleges and universities offering four-year undergraduate degree programs and which provide facilities for both room and board. Of the institutions surveyed, 1,204 schools responded.

WVU is the only college in West Virginia to make the list.
