With the upcoming elections in November, West Virginia University students are encouraged to exercise their right to vote.

If students are registered in their hometown, they may register to vote in Morgantown or keep their voter registration current at their parentsaddress.

In compliance with federal code, WVU is making self-mailing voter registration forms available at several campus locations: Admissions and Records front counter; Health Sciences Center admissions office; Creative Arts Center; College of Engineering and Mineral Resources; and Davis College of Agriculture, Forestry and Consumer Sciences.

Forms can also be obtained at the Student Recreation Center, residence halls, Student Organization Services and Mountainlair information desk.

West Virginia residents also have the option of downloading a mail-in registration form athttp://www.wvsos.com/elections/voters/registernow.htm. Out-of-state students are encouraged to go tohttp://www.wvsos.com/elections/voters/registerUSA.htmto find links to their home state registration information.

To be eligible to vote in West Virginia, students must be registered at least 21 days before an election.
