To those who feel they are fighting a losing battle with weight, the West Virginia University School of Physical Education says: �€?Mission Possible.�€?
The school’s program to combat obesity starts the week of May 22. The cost is $125, and people can register within the first two weeks of the course. The program is open to the public.
�€?Mission Possible�€? is an exercise and lifestyle modification program designed to help those who are obese.
The course package includes individual exercise programs, membership at StansburyFitnessCenter , a weekly support group, six weekly group counseling sessions with an exercise psychologist, individual counseling sessions and private weekly fitness classes.
The goal is to provide a safe and non-intimidating environment to learn how to make the lifestyle, physical and emotional changes necessary for lifelong healthy living.
