Young violinists in the West Virginia University Community Music Program will present a Suzuki recital Sunday, April 30, at the Creative Arts Center.
The concert, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the Bloch Learning and Performance Hall (Room 200A).
The student performers, all from the Morgantown area, study with Mary Wilson. They include young aspiring violinists and several older students who display a great deal of proficiency and skill. They will perform a variety of classical pieces.
The students include Emily Braham, Nina Han, William Gu, Katherine Henneberger, Kienan Battin, Akshay Chandran, Duncan Crooks, Sean Elliott, Tristan Quinones, Sara Jones, Michelle Ma, Vuong Nguyen, Katie Warner, Kristi Guritza, Elizabeth Albuquerque, Jason Snyder, Allison Prescott, Patrick Sullivan, Eriko Hattori, Emily Ngan, Lucian Mazza, MoMo Zhou and Eric Lopez.
