The April 17 Festival of Ideas lecture by CNN anchor Anderson Cooper has been canceled.

Cooper is being sent on a special on-location assignment by his producers at CNN and will not be able to come to Morgantown.

Cooper is the anchor of CNN ’s unconventional, wide-ranging news programAnderson Cooper 360,which airs weeknights at 10.

WVU ’s Festival of Ideas will conclude its 2006 series with a presentation by author, journalist and social commentator Barbara Ehrenreich on April 25. Ehrenreich will present”Bait and Switch”at 7:30 p.m. in the Mountainlair Ballrooms.
