WVU ’s Student Recreation Center is offering free body fat assessments and free first workouts to students and members during the first two weeks in April.
The program runs from 5-7 p.m. Monday, April 3, Thursday, April 6, Monday April 10, and Thursday, April 13, in the Wellness Lab.
In addition, the Rec. Center has added new exercise classes for April: hip hop, Latin aerobics, Saturday pilates, noon-time cycling and more.
There are 66 classes each weekall free for members and students.
In addition, theAsk the Expert,series continues every Thursday from 2-5 p.m., offering sources in the fields of exercise science, nutrition, general health and sports psychologyby appointment to members and students.
The 10-15 minute free, one-on-one sessions are designed to provide answers to personal questions related to optimizing one’s health.
Appointments can be made at the front desk Sunday through Wednesday.
