The Celts have a rich literary and musical traditionfrom writers James Joyce, William Butler Yeats, Samuel Beckett and George Bernard Shawto old-time instruments and dances such as fiddletunes, pennywhistles and two steps.

To celebrate all things Celtic and Irish, the Sigma Tau Delta English honorary at West Virginia University along with the WVU English Club, will hostCelt Festfrom 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, at the Evansdale Residence Hall’s Brew and Gold Room.

“CeltFest”will feature discussions of favorite Celtic and Irish literature as well as the playing of Celtic music, including a live performance by Instant Porridge.
