Musicians who teach in the West Virginia University Community Music Program will share their talents Friday, Feb. 24, during the program’s annual faculty solo/chamber recital.

The program will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Antoinette Falbo Theatre of the Creative Arts Center . The concert is free and open to the public.

The program will include Debussy’sBeau Soirand Hindemith’sCapriccio in A Major,performed by Mary Morrison, cello, and John Morrison, piano; Avon’sFantaisie de Concert,Jeanne Frieben, clarinet, and Amanda Lee, piano; and Bolcom’sOld AdamfromGarden of Eden,Natalie Buckley, piano.

Josh Janotta, tenor, and pianist Amanda Lee will present De Falla’sSiete Canciones populares Espanlas,and violinist Patricia van der Sloot and pianist Catherine Crotty will perform Franck’sSonata in A Major.

The concert will also feature the Mozart songsAbendempfindung, Als Luise die Briefe ihres ungetreuen Liebhabers verbrannteandTrennungslied,Catharine Thieme, mezzo-soprano, and Christine Kefferstan, piano; and Lalliet’sTerzetto for Oboe, Bassoon and Piano, Op. 22,Amy Galbraith, oboe, Alicia Whitney, bassoon, and John Morrison, piano.
