If the idea of spending a summer at an amusement park or along a scenic riverand getting paid for itsounds appealing, students will want to attend the Summer Jobs Expo sponsored by West Virginia University’s Career Services Center Job Location and Development Office.

The job fair will run from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, in the Mountainlair ballrooms and feature nearly 50 employers, including camps, parks and resorts.

The expo is a great opportunity to meet and informally talk with recruiters from a variety of companies and government agencies about full- and part-time employment and internship opportunities, said Bob Kent, director of the Career Services Center .

Come in between classes, come early, and plan to spend a lot of time at the expo,he said.Bring a friend, or two or three.

No registration is required, and the event is free to WVU students, Kent added.
