How does culture play out in writing? How are teachers shaped by cultural preferences? How do you evaluate international student writing with that of a native speaker?

On Feb. 27, the WVU Writing Center and the Intensive English Program will host a brown bag lunch and viewing ofWriting Across Borders,a short film about working with international students and their writing. A discussion session will follow to answer these questions and more.

The viewing will be from noon-1 p.m. in the WVU Writing Center room, 44 Stansbury Hall on the Downtown Campus.
