Students enrolled in the WVU College of Business and Economics Executive MBA program will graduate Saturday, Dec. 17, at 11 a.m. in the Mountainlair Gluck Theater.
Thirty-two students will receive diplomas, representing groups from Lewisburg, Beckley and Morgantown.
The EMBA program is taught in Morgantown and delivered via distance education technology throughout the state in Beckley, Charleston, Elkins, Lewisburg, Martinsburg, Moorefield, Parkersburg and Wheeling. The program will be expanding in the spring of 2006, where EMBA classes will be offered in Keyser for the first time.
Students, led by award-winning faculty, study courses on emerging business trends and best business practices. The program also offers unique opportunities that students can choose to participate in. They can study abroad in Germany, Prague, China or Italy, or participate in an Export Management class, gaining hands-on experience working with West Virginia companies who are considering exporting.
The EMBA program was founded in 1995 and has over 500 alumni statewide.
