The West Virginia University Concert Band, an ensemble of nearly 100 members, will perform Monday, Dec. 5, at the Creative Arts Center.

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Lyell B. Clay Concert Theatre.

The program will featureHanover Festivalby Philip Sparke, three choral preludes by William Latham,Pageantby Vincent Persichetti, andThird Suiteby Robert Jager.

Following intermission, the band will performFirst Suite in E-flatby Gustav Holst,Themes from Green Bushesby Percy Grainger,Shenandoahby Frank Tischeli andAmerican Civil War Fantasyby Jerry Bilik.

The Concert Band is directed by WVU Associate Director of Bands Jay Drury. Guest conducts will be Director of Bands John Hendricks, Nicole Gross, Christopher Nichter and Brent Alexander.
