West Virginia Universitys campus radio station is teaming up music and food to help the community.

This Friday (Dec. 2), U92 will hold a canned food drive and live broadcast from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Mountainlair commons area.

The drive will benefit Caritas House, a service organization offering housing assistance, counseling referrals, prevention education and other opportunities for people living with HIV . The event comes one day after World AIDS Day, Dec. 1.

Also Friday, U92 is sponsoring a concert featuring The Emergency, a local rock and pop band, and Coffinberry, a rock band from Ohio, from 10 p.m.-midnight in theLair Side Pocket as part of WVUp All Night activities. Students are encouraged to bring canned food items to the show.
