Interested in a career in writing or applying to graduate school in English? Not sure what you want to do after college?

Those questions can be answered Tuesday, Nov. 29, at a Department of English Graduate School Information Panel set for 7 p.m. in the Shenandoah Room of the Mountainlair.

Panelists include Laura Brady, director, Center for Writing Excellence; Pat Conner, director, WVU Press; Mary Ann Samyn, assistant professor of creative writing; and Lisa Weihman, assistant professor of English.

Current graduate students will also be available to answer questions.

The panel will provide information on how to select a school or program, how to handle the application process and how to apply for assistantships and fellowships.

The panel is sponsored by the Department of English and Sigma Tau Delta, the English Honor Society of WVU .
