West Virginia Universitys Downtown Campus will once again shine brightly during the holiday season when the 18 th annual Woodburn Hall Lighting Ceremony takes place Thursday, Dec. 1, at 6:30 p.m. in Woodburn Circle. The community is invited to help celebrate the holiday-winter season at this festive event.

Hardesty and WVU Student Government Association President D.J. Casto will offer holiday greetings.
A patient from WVU Childrens Hospital will assist Hardesty with turning on the switch that will illuminate approximately 7,000 miniature white lights outlining Woodburn Hall, WVU s second oldest building.
WVU s Tuba/Euphonium Quartet will provide holiday music.
Following the ceremony, refreshments will be served in the lobby of E. Moore Hall, and Santa will be there to greet guests.
Woodburn will remain lit through Tuesday, Jan. 17.
