This years Thanksgiving break will bring the usual exodus from the West Virginia University campus as students head to various holiday destinations for a little R and R.

Residence halls will close at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, and reopen at noon, Sunday, Nov. 27; classes resume Monday, Nov. 28.

Beginning Friday afternoon, the Mountaineer Parents Club, in cooperation with the WVU Motor Pool, will offer rides for a small fee to the Pittsburgh International Airport and several out-of-state locations: central Maryland; Hagerstown, Md.; Newark, N.J.; the New York Port Authority; Buffalo, N.Y.; Allentown, Pa.; Erie, Pa.; and northern Virginia.
